Privacy policy

Mogwarts is a fitness dashboard for Murray, Eliot, and Fraser, operated by Murray on his Mac mini.

Google sign-in

We use your verified Google email address to check the invitation list and maintain your login session. Murray manages access to the site. Signing in does not grant access to your Fitbit; connecting fitness data requires a separate authorization.

What we collect

When you connect your Fitbit through Google, Mogwarts reads the activity, heart rate, sleep, and profile data authorized by your account. It stores account access credentials, cached metrics, daily historical summaries, and generated messages in a local SQLite database. WhatsApp linked-device credentials are stored locally. For conversational replies, recent text from the selected WhatsApp group is retained for up to 24 hours, capped at 300 messages. Other chats are not collected.

What is shared

The private dashboard, available only to invited Google accounts, displays the three wizards’ names, steps, active minutes, calories, distance, sleep, resting heart rate, fitness scores, and historical charts. Selected metrics also inform messages sent to the selected WhatsApp group. Do not connect if you do not agree to this sharing.

Optional AI

Roasts use local templates by default. If the operator enables an external AI provider, current fitness metrics, first names, recent group messages and recent bot replies may be sent to that provider to create the group’s banter. Access tokens and account secrets are never included.

Retention and control

Daily summaries and decree history remain on the Mac mini until the operator deletes them. Ask Murray to disconnect your account and delete your stored data. You can revoke Mogwarts access in your Google account security settings. Browser cookies are used for administrator sessions and OAuth security; this site uses no advertising trackers.
